John Lee
President
John, the founder of Arise Mortgage Corp., works closely with Arise’s investor and borrowing clients. He achieved his Business degree from Simon Fraser University concentrating in Finance and Economics and has worked in different major Canadian financial institutions for many years helping clients fulfill their financial goals. His lending experience spans all areas of real estate including residential, office, mixed-use, multi-family, land assembly, development, interim, debt restructuring, industrial, and various commercial. In addition, he is a proud supporter of Compassion Canada – a non-profit organization that helps release children from poverty. He loves volunteering at his local church and spending quality time with his wife and young daughter.
Kevin Kim
Mortgage Professional - Team Lead
Kevin achieved his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2012. He has been working in the financial sector for many years as a corporate accountant and a mortgage professional. He loves being challenged with complicated financial problems and coming up with creative mortgage solutions for residential and commercial properties. He is passionate about helping young families, new home buyers, and new immigrants. He enjoys volunteering at the City of Langley as a member of the advisory council. When he is not working, he loves running and spending time with his wife and young son.
Gladys Yu
Assistant Manager
Gladys achieved her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto in 2017, then completed a Digital Strategy & Communications certificate in 2020. During this time, she also started a small online jewelry business on the side. She helps the Arise team with a lot of behind the scenes work, from marketing all the way to whatever is necessary to complete mortgage applications. When she is not working, she enjoys catching up with friends over a meal, spending time outdoors, and exploring the city.
Natsuki Ogura

Natsuki was born and raised in Japan. She immigrated to Canada in 2009, and joined one of the largest online eyewear retailers in North America as a Marketing Specialist for several years. Now, she has shifted her career into the mortgage industry. Her collaborative, goal-oriented style of work will ensure that clients are getting the most out of their home purchasing experience. She loves helping people by sharing the knowledge of how the right mortgage allows people to improve their financial well-being. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her two children, her husband, and her Shiba Inu fur baby!
Philip Fung

Philip achieved his BBA degree from City University of Hong Kong in Economics & Finance and has worked in different global companies related to market intelligence, financial data analysis, index modelling, and global trade research & insights. In 2009, he achieved his MBA, and moved to Vancouver with his family in 2021. He studied further at UBC to achieve his mortgage broker certificate.
Philip is not a typical mortgage broker - he's a homeowner, borrower, lender, and investor. This has given him a unique perspective that he can bring to every client. He understands the importance of finding the perfect place to call home.

Kevin was born and raised in Korea. He immigrated to Canada in 2002 when he just finished the freshman in University in Korea and graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2007.
Working as a background in public accountant for many years, Kevin has built a successful integration with his financial and customer service experience in simplifying the mortgage solutions.
He is truly passionate about people and whether refinancing a mortgage, consolidating debt, searching for a private mortgage, deciding on second mortgage, or a home equity line of credit he always pursues providing the best possible customer experience with the highest level of honesty and integrity.
When he isn’t working or consulting with clients, Kevin loves spending time with his family, watching his kids playing sports or going on hikes around GVA with his wife and a dog.

Hayson has a veritable track record of success in various settings and a strong background in accounting, tax planning, and business consultation. He has helped countless business owners and families to achieve their goals.
Hayson also believes in the importance of giving back to the community. He volunteered for a government registered not-for-profit organization for 10 years and acted as the Treasurer for 5 years. His responsibilities included overseas finance, communicating with the government liaison officers (funding), organized fund-raising dinners, and reporting to all members at the AGM.
In his spare time, Hayson enjoys traveling, photography and outdoor activities.
